I’m a child of the 80s. It’s just part of who I am.
So would explain why I have a soft spot in my heart for the music of that decade (much to my wife’s dismay.)
Inspiration is a funny thing. I flipped on VH1 Classic while I was getting dressed this morning and saw the video for “Gimme All Your Lovin'” and an idea began to percolate. On the commute it fleshed itself out, and after a bit of quick internet research, I’m ready to share.
The title of the post says it all. So, here now, in no particular order, are the top ten things I learned from 80s music.
The funny thing is, the older I get the truer some of these become.
Enjoy.
