Friday LinkFrogging – 2/26/10

Welcome once again my fellow geeks and gonzos.

If its Friday it must, once again, be time for us to travel into the dark recesses of the internet to find out exactly what it was that the staff of this fine website was captivated by this week.

Before we begin our journey, let’s have a slice of cheesecake, shall we?

Say hello to Jenna Fischer won’t you?  Yes, that’s right, Pam from NBC’s The Office.  And why you ask was Ms. Fischer chosen to be this week’s cheesecake?  The answer is twofold.  First, The Office returns to air next week which means the long national nightmare that is the Winter Olympics is nearly over.  Really, how many ways can humans fall down the side of a mountain.  This will also be our final LinkFrogging before the world is subjected to the arrival of the Halpert/Beasley offspring on next week’s very special 1 hour birthing episode of The Office.

I wonder how Ricky Gervais feels about that?

Actually, I imagine he doesn’t much care as long as the checks keep rolling in.

On to the links.

The theory of comedy, clearly stated.

How about just teaching your kid to take smaller bites, chew their food before swallowing it and not run around like a monkey with food in their mouth? Leave the damn hot dog alone! Maybe the doritos and tortilla chips shouldn’t have corners! Or maybe all ice should be shaved into your drink so you can’t choke on it! – SIB
