Friday LinkFrogging – 4/2/10

Welcome back my friends to our weekly walk on the weird side of the web.

Do you smell it?

Its the smell of freshly mown grass, beer, hot dogs and Icy Hot.

That combination can only mean one thing.  Baseball season is underway.

MLB’s opening day game is this Sunday when the Evil Empire, the New York Yankees, take on the Other Evil Empire, the Boston Red Sox.  The game will air on ESPN2 beginning at 7:05 EST.

That brings us to this week’s cheesecake.  Please say hello to Alyssa Milano.  Why Alyssa Milano you ask?  Was it her work  on Who’s the Boss?  Was it her turn as Jenny Matrix in Commando?  Perhaps her later dalliance in Skinemax worthy features such as Embrace of the Vampire?

No.

Ms. Milano’s turn as cheesecake is due to her more recent work as America’s top “baseball Annie.”  After tiring of hockey players and B grade TV actors, Ms. Milano turned her attentions to a slew of baseball players, mostly Los Angeles Dodgers, such as Brad Penny, Carl Pavano, Barry Zito and Russell Martin.

Now married, she does her best to equip up and coming Annie’s with team gear designed to grab the eye of that recently acquired middle infielder with her Touch clothing line.

Now, on with the links.
