The Ultimate Fighter – Season 11, Episode 7

Well, May sucked.

Let’s just leave it at that.

I got behind on everything, including these.  I plan to make up for that tonight.  I’m forgoing a live viewing of tonight’s 2 hour finale in order to write my reviews of the four episodes of TUF Season 11 I missed.

When last we convened, there was but one first round match remaining.  That was between Seth Baczynski (Team Ortiz) and Joseph Henle (Team Liddell).  After three hard fought rounds, the judges gave the fight to Baczynski.  It was a good decision, but I think Henle really showed everyone something.

With that, all of the first round fights are done.

We also learn that the ambiguous Nick Ring may have reinjured his ACL and his future in the competition is in doubt.  He does his best to hide it from Ortiz and the other coaches.

Dana White announces that Kyacey Uscola and Kris McCay have beenchosen to fight for the wildcard.

He then announces that due to an injury suffered during his fight, Rich Attonitio will not be able to continue in the tournament.  His spot is give to Court McGee.

This announcement doesn’t sit well with James Hammortree and Joe Henle.

So we’re all set for the quarter-finals.
