According to Entertainment Weekly, NBC is preparing to return "Chuck" to the air far sooner than originally planned. Given the sad state of affairs at NBC:  the Jay Leno experiment, the cancellation of "Southland" before a single episode aired, the continuing demise of "Heroes", this only makes sense.
